| Martin was the coach of the Great Britain
eight that won Gold in 2000 at the Sydney Games. The year before the
eight won a silver medal at the World Championships in St Catherines,
Canada. Martin coached the crews that won the Eights Head of
the River in 1999, 2000, and 2001. All of these crews won in Vespoli
Eights.
